Ramon Pesante is an award-winning director, creative producer, and the visionary force behind the promotional campaigns for some of streaming and broadcast television’s most iconic series and live cultural milestones. Known for architecting forward-thinking "big ideas," Ramon excels at merging global brand identities with cutting-edge visual storytelling across all digital and on-air platforms.
His extensive scope of talents—spanning celebrity-driven narratives, stylized visuals, and high-stakes brand integration—has enabled him to execute a diverse portfolio of original, award-winning work. His accolades include a Silver Telly Award for directing the NYC COVID-19 Vaccine PSA, a Cablefax Award for The New Edition Story, and an Emmy nomination for the successful 2023 launch of The Sherri Show on FOX. Most recently, Ramon served as a Producer for the Wu-Tang Clan’s 30th Anniversary Concert, managing complex production logistics for the global cultural event.
Ramon’s creative energy and filmmaker chops allow him to move seamlessly between network promo campaigns, branded content, and independent cinema. His award-winning feature film, Playing Sam, swept the festival circuit, earning Best Director, Best Writing, and Best Feature honors at the Oscar Micheaux and International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festivals following its world premiere at the American Black Film Festival.
Throughout his evolving career, Ramon has spearheaded campaigns for a wide array of elite properties, including Netflix, The Wendy Williams Show, and a first-of-its-kind graphical integration for Marvel/Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. His extensive portfolio also includes work for Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living, Lena Waithe’s Twenties, The Rundown with Robin Thede, The BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, and Real Husbands of Hollywood.
